Shore Road
As featured in the Sunday Telegraph and Saga magazine.
A small but exciting project to produce a seaside dwelling with a strong beach hut feel.
The innovative Architect, Jonathan Manser of The Manser Practice designed the building on a module of 8’ x 4’ sheets of ply that form the ceiling, walls and floor, producing a basic and economic finish.
Attention to detail resulted in a holiday home with a ‘Wow’ factor.
The property had piled foundations, timber framed and a ‘warm’ roof clad in corrugated iron for the ‘Caribbean’ feel.
The project was featured in The Times, 24th March 2007.

Build It Magazine, October 2004
Contract Value: £980,000

The pre-requisites for this contemporary wood-clad building were for an eco-friendly house that would enhance the landscape and create a family home, from local materials where possible.
